Since bursting onto the Newcastle music scene in October 2022, CITRUS have captivated crowds with their bright, fresh sound. The group combines a myriad of influences to create a refreshingly unique sound. Their floating vocal melodies, smooth, jazz-influenced guitar lines, energetic, rock-infused drums and rich, punchy bass parts have drawn comparisons to groups such as The Cranberries and Wolf Alice. The band’s recorded tracks aim to capture their energy and passion for live performance. CITRUS released their debut EP in May 2024, followed by a sold out headline show at Head of Steam Newcastle. The band have also received support from BBC Introducing North East, Generator and Independent Venue Week UK.
