Ben Harwood is a musician from Ashington in Northumberland, playing original music in the Newcastle scene since 2021, and amassing a catalogue of songs depicting coming of age in a town in the North East of England. NARC Magazine describe his music as ‘articulating the tribulations of the world for generation Z.’ Sonically, Ben takes a wide range of influences from indie giants like The War on Drugs, The 1975 and Phoebe Bridgers as well as classic songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith and Bruce Springsteen. Now backed by a full live band, he puts in passionate performances that only stand to enhance the meanings of his self-penned works from his debut EP ‘Fault Lines.’ In 2025 Benand the band stand to release a swathe of singles that build on the ideas and sounded explored in already released works, after having the previous year to refine their live set, and also aim to take their music further afield.
